Hello! My name is Lici.

I am married to the most amazing man in the world, I have two incredible step-sons, and I have a sweet doggo girl who seems to have cracked the code on channeling unlimited energy sources. I studied physics and math at UC Berkeley before deciding I wanted to take a pause on academia and pursue my soul a bit. I studied oil painting at home for about a year and then somehow ended up finding Reiki. I always feel like I have several feet in several different worlds, but I don’t mind it. I have a wandering soul, and I love to learn and experience new things. When I learned Reiki, it honestly felt like I had always known how to do it. It brings a sense of peace and joy to me like no other activity can, and I’m so excited for the opportunity to be able to spread some of that peace and joy to others.

I would also like to tell you that I never saw myself doing this kind of work. As a former atheist with a physics/math degree and a background in human biology, there was a time when I wouldn’t have been able to even listen to someone talk about Reiki - something so seemingly nonsensical. It was an unusual journey, as most are, going from that reality to this one, and truly one of the most amazing things to come out of my journey is the knowing that Reiki is very real. Reiki is not a scam, it’s not evil, it’s not magic, and it isn’t even that novel. Our bodies self heal every single day, whether from a small cut or something more, and Reiki simply allows a person to become an active participant in that healing process, as opposed to a passive one. When we allow ourselves to open up to the truth of there being many phenomena in this world we still don’t yet have the words to explain, I believe that’s when we find real magic.
